Better Where It Counts. Every Delivery.

From dotted white lines to double yellow lines, business seems to be filled with lines. But there’s only one that really counts: your bottom line. And being better on the bottom line is what makes Cummins the most popular engines in medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks in the world.

A great track record of proven performance continues to improve with Cummins medium-duty truck engines. The Cummins ISL9, ISC8.3 and ISB6.7 continue to have some the highest power density of any engines in their class. So whether you’re pulling a loaded dump truck out of the mud or a beverage truck across town, you’ve got the power to get the job done.

  • Better Fuel Economy: Cummins is boosting the industry-leading fuel economy of our ISL9 and ISB6.7 engines up to 2% in 2013. How? The addition of an air intake throttle makes our Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) more efficient. The VGT™ Turbocharger on the ISL9 has been modified for greater efficiency. The result is a reduction in parasitic losses that increases fuel economy and lowers operating costs.
  • Better Reliability and Durability: Cummins designs, develops and supports every critical component from air handling to exhaust aftertreatment as a totally integrated system. This allows us to optimize every function better than any other engine manufacturer.
  • Better Customer Support: Cummins engines come with a comprehensive base warranty, and multiple options for extended coverage. And they are backed by the largest and most capable parts and service network, with over 7,200 locations around the world.
